Bravo Zoe! I'm giving you a standing ovation. This is an extraordinary work of art. You should be very proud... both your electric and acoustic tone is "delicious" Your performance brings tears to my eyes. I have had the pleasure of watching you mature both physically and musically, and I am so proud of you accomplishment. Your performance is just filled with so much heart, it pours out all over. I can also hear a new Zoe McCulloch in some of your licks...you must be practicing morning, noon and night, and it has paid off. You've developed your own style and sound, something that every guitarist attempts to do... and for some it takes a lifetime, some never make it, but Zoe, you certainly have, and at such a young age. I'm so impressed!
Al Steele is to be complimented too on such great musical arrangements. All of the artists and instrumentation selected is superb and the quality of this recording is amongst the finest I've heard in a long time. This is truly a professional work of art, and in my opinion worthy of Grammy recognition. Being a guitarist myself, I can sense the passion you have for the instrument and for your music. I can truly tell the world, "I knew you when..." and I'm certainly glad I know you now. I don't know how you'll top this one? I don't know anyone that could, but then again, I've seen you 'grow' and I'm certain you'll come up with something and take the world by surprise once again.
Absolutely marvellous job Zoe. The world is sure to be impressed with this cd, it's destined to become a guitar player's classic recording.
